Critical requirements:
- A BCom in Accounting Degree.
- Minimum of 5 years working experience post Articles with at least 3 years at supervisory level
- Must be registered as practising member with NIPA, and/or ICAN
- Strong knowledge of IFRS standards.
- Must have a valid Driver’s licence Code B.
- CA or ACCA designation will be an advantage.
Key Performance Areas:
- Manage the accounting department in terms of statutory requirements, client commitments and staff movements;
- Monitor and train accounting staff, simultaneously acting as a mentor;
- Assist partners with planning, conducting and finalizing of accounting assignments;
- Act as competency assessor for accounting trainees and overseeing their development.
- Perform on-the-job staff training.
Language requirement: English
